Miramar and Soller Valley Tour, Valldemossa

4hr driving tour around the Serra de Tramuntana
Miramar and Soller Valley Tour, Valldemossa

This is a different way to enjoy a quality guided tour with your own car, and discover little-known hidden places hand in hand with a local guide using portable radios whilst you drive.
Covering a route of around 70km, on this 4 hour tour (plus 30 minute briefing) you can explore Mallorca on a scheduled route with several stops and visits where you can learn about different cultural, gastronomic and landscape values.
The portable radio devices use a private frequency, are easy to install and use and are bidirectional - allowing all the vehicles to interact with each other as well as listening to the different commentaries of the Driveando guides.
You will be driving around the Serra de Tramuntana, a declared Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, stopping off at Valldemossa Hermitage: a short 10 minute walk to reach a magical location where you can breathe real peace, whilst your guide explains the short yet fascinating story about the place. Next you will head to Miramar Monastery, founded by the great thinker and inventor Ramon Llull, which later became the summer mansion of Archduke Luis Salvador of Austria. You will discover its byzantine gardens and interiors and finish with a taste of salt cookies Quelitas with cheese. Finally you will head to the Soller olive mill to discover and learn about the process of producing olive oil and the local orange crop with the owner of this small family company.
The trip finishes with lunch in Soller town.
The tour has two departure times, lunch is included, and you will need to provide your own vehicle and petrol.
Meeting point: Repsol Petrol station in Carretera de Valldemossa.
End point: Soller Town Centre.
